seasonal air mass clustering

Dear Sir
how can i calculate the backward trajectories according to the season for one year, Do I need to download a 3 month meteorological data for one year or for 3 month and do the cluster analysis and then starting another season especially the GDAS.w data has huge file size or there is special file for seasonal trajectories.
