I successfully downloaded and installed the HYSPLIT PC version on my computer running on Windows 10. Each time I try to access the Meteorological data from the GUI, I get this error message.
''FTP failed: ftp.arl.noaa.gov>>/pub/archives/gdas1/gdas1.apr21.w1
The requested file does not exist or the FTP user interface might not have worked due to your computer configuration. Consider manually downloading the data file to your work directory C:hysplit/working. Windows PC users might want to use third-party ftp client that supports the passive mode. Run a ftp client and connect to the ftp.arl.noaa.gov. For username and password, use anonymous and your email address respectively. Then change directory to /pub/archives/gdas1 and download gda1.apr21.w1''
How do I go about this and get the needed data?
