THE daily meteorological data of GDAS 0.5-deg is larger than 600M. And I need the whole year data from 2015 to 2016. Can I have a light way or choose those useful data for me? help me.

Yes, the files are large. Other archived files (GDAS1, Reanalysis) are smaller, but the resolution is more coarse. The archived data are described at http://ready.arl.noaa.gov/archives.php
