I have downloaded the HYSPLIT model for offline use on a PC and I am wondering if there is any way to download the archive meteorological files as a batch rather than each week individually? I am looking to run models from 1977-2015 and from what I understand, I would need to use the reanalysis data, which I would need to download separately per week for that time frame. This seems very time consuming and I am wondering if there is a more simple way to download these files that I may have missed when reading the manuals.

The Reanalysis files are monthly so that is not as many files to download as the GDAS weekly files. These are at ftp://arlftp.arlhq.noaa.gov/archives/reanalysis/. As you say though from 1977-2015 there are a lot of files.
