The other option is that you describe to me how did you created the .bin file. I can reproduce that in our system and get back to you.

From this link
http://ready.arl.noaa.gov/ready2-bin/ex ... xtracta.pl
go to option aera and time
choose any week data
put this in box -->
Lower left latitude (degrees)
-20
Lower left longitude (West < 0)
35

Upper right latitude (degrees)
45

Upper right longitude (West < 0)
110

then i clicked extract data to get the bin file.

Just tested the file that I extracted and works fine. See attachments.
