HYSPLIT Backward Trajectory (Frequency) in GFS 0.25 for a Longer period of time.

Post by smalik_46 »

Hello There,
I am working on Hysplit Backward Trajectories to find the path of aerosols and their concentration. I am interested in GFS 0.25 resolution which is quite good one. In order to retrieve I am also looking for the amount or concentration of air masses travel into my area. last, I am interested to run for a longer period of time and want to get mean for over that area instead for a single day. i-e looking for the whole season.
If any one can help in this regard, that how can I be able to retrieve such type of data.

I will be very thankful.

You can follow the example on HYSPLIT tutorial 6.1 https://www.ready.noaa.gov/documents/Tu ... _freq.html
The 2021 HYSPLIT workshop videos are available on https://www.ready.noaa.gov/register/HYS ... agenda.php. Trajectory-related materials are on the 1st-day recording.
