Input Control file error

Dear Sir
when I tried to calculate the dust storm model for specific archive meteorological data (gdas1.oct19.w3), I received this message error (input control file requires 3 locations, however, I insert only one location which is Baghdad coordinates ), how can I fix this issue?

Please attach your SETUP.CFG, CONTROL, and MESSAGE file to this thread. They would be helpful to diagnose the issue.

where can I usually find these files in HYSPLIT, are they under working directory Folder ?

If you are using the HYSPLIT Graphical User Interface, the HYSPLIT files should be found in the working directory.

Dear zinn, unfortunately, I tried hard to upload the file but every time I received this error message invalid file extension during uploading files.

You might want to rename CONTROL to CONTROL.txt, SETUP.CFG to SETUP.txt, etc. and try uploading them again.

Your CONTROL file specifies one release location on lines 2-3. For the dustbdy program to work, the CONTROL file must have three locations: see https://www.ready.noaa.gov/hysplitusers ... m#run_dust.
