2018 CA wildfires

2018 CA wildfires

I am wondering if someone is currently modelling the smoke from the CA wildfires and if it is possible to take the output directly to a Web Map service in an interoperable format. Would like to make contact with that effort.

The current NOAA smoke forecasts are available from the National Weather Service at:

https://airquality.weather.gov/

Choose the surface or column total PM2.5 forecast and then you can zoom in by clicking on the map.

We are not aware of a wep map service for these products, however you could ask that question at:

https://www.weather.gov/sti/contact
