HYSPLIT Forum: hysplitbbs.arl.noaa.gov

Is the UAF GDAS server working correctly? When I attempt to link to it directly from the HYSPLIT website my browser, Firefox, tells me "Firefox can't find the server at gdas-server.iarc.uaf.edu."

Likewise when I attempt to connect using Filezilla (3.6.0.2) I get the following:

Status: Resolving address of gdas-server.iarc.uaf.edu
Status: Connection attempt failed with "EAI_NODATA - No address associated with nodename".
Error: Could not connect to server
Status: Waiting to retry...

I've been getting this message for more than a week now. Thanks!!

The ftp server that housed the data is no longer accessible. We have not been able to locate a new source of this data. If someone knows if the new location, please let us know.
