I have a problem with meteorological files. Files don't open. When I try to open 'NOAA ARL FTP server' , files don't load. How can I resolve this problem?

Web browsers, for example, Google Chrome, disables ftp access. This may be the cause of the error you are experiencing.

If you are using a Windows PC, use a third-party ftp client such as FileZilla ftp client, WinSCP, etc. Connect to ftp.arl.noaa.gov using "anonymous" (without the quotations when entering) and your email address for the username and password, respectively.
