con2cdf3 and con2cdf4 year issue

Good morning!
I am using con2cdf in order to convert hysplit binary to netcdf and I found that this conversion program only works if simulation dates are between 2000 and 2099. I guess because of the definition of the years with only two numbers "YY" could be possible to add some extra argument to this programs for defining the other two "YY"??
It is quite problematic this behaviour, thank you all!
