Data: ftp://arlftp.arlhq.noaa.gov/pub/archives/gdas0p5

is there a way that data from above address can be converted into human readable format? I would like to decompress/convert files into text files or any other suitable format.

You can use xtrct_stn.exe or profile.exe to extract the meteorological data information from the files

They should be under the "exec" directory.

I searched whole ftp server: ftp://arlftp.arlhq.noaa.gov/ and it seems there is no 'exec' directory. Some folders can not be open therefore I assume 'exec' folder and wanted profile.exe and xtrct_stn.exe files are in those folders.

Is there a possibility I can access these folders, or can be desired files moved to accessible address?
