wrf to arl, height levels

wrf to arl, height levels

Hello,

I have used the arw2arl routine to convert my wrf output. However, when I read the ARLDATA.BIN file using the profile routine, I can not see the height levels in meters (first column 3d field), but just the pressure ones. Is there anything I need to change?

There is no level height field in the ARL format file. The WRFDATA.CFG used in the wrf2arl program shows what variables are extracted from WRF output and written in ARL format file.
If you need to look at level height, you can get it directly from WRF output using the geopotential height variable ("PH"+"PHB").
