I installed Hysplit in Linux Mint.
I run the script conc_test.sh. It runs and plots nicely, however when I close the gs window the message showed in the subject appears.
My question is how to resolve that issue.

Also, when I use the GUI the windows do not close when I close the GS display. Do you know how to fix that?

You are getting that message because the GUI is trying to find a concentration file that has not been generated. Please make sure you are generating a cdump file with some content on it.
The GUI will not close when you close your GS window. It is supposed to continue working so you can do other calculations. To close the GUI you must click on the Exit button.
