I am new to Hysplit and would like to create trajectory models with ECMWF data. I have selected the appropriate variables and downloaded the .GRIB files (all GRIB1). I get a recurring error that grib2arl is missing (see picture). The Hysplit Users Guide states that grib2arl does not work at all for mac and is outdated. Nevertheless, I copied the file (which was still under hysplit/data2arl) into my exec, but it is only a text file. Has anyone here ever had a similar problem or can help me how to read in ECMWF data with a MAC? I have also downloaded era52arl and mer2arl, but these are also not recognized and do not solve the problem. Thanks in advance!
