I obtained multiple output file through special runs-->daily. I want to get the Google earth output file for each result. What I am doing now is trajectory display-->G-Earth for each file manually.

Is there any easier way that I can get multiple file?

Thanks!

Make a variant of the "run daily" tcl script that also creates the Google Earth output. The tcl scripts in the hysplti4/guicode directory are text files. In auto_traj.tcl, the "trajplot.exe" command can be added right after the hyts_std.exe command which creates the trajectory.

Run "\hysplti4\exec\trajplot.exe" in the Windows Command Prompt and it will list the command line parameters. For instance -itdump means the file named tdump is the input file, and -a3 means to create the Google Earth file.

hysplit4/guicode/traj_disp.tcl is the code for the "Trajectory Display" window

I went through the download a few times and nothing seems to work. I want to download the public unregistered vesion. I read further and it says to download. The instruction says to download Hysplit.util.phop before loadin Hysplit4, and that no other downloads will be required. I do this and nothing happens, nothing runs. I'm confused. Can someone give me the sequence of events> What and when to download, and how to activate the programs.

Thank you.

Yes, at this website http://www.ready.noaa.gov/HYSPLIT_hytrial.php it says to download the utility program first, then HYSPLIT. When HYSPLIT is installed, an icon will be written to the desktop, that icon is double-clicked to start running HYSPLIT. Note the instructions recommend installation in C:\hysplit4.
