Particle array Warning

In some ruining there is a warning: " Particle array limit reached; Emission turned off." What dose it mean??

It means you are emitting more particles than the maximum permitted by the model. You will need to change the parameter MAXPAR in the SETUP.CFG file.

Thanks for your attention
I found one SETUP.CFG file in hysplit4\examples\configs\volcano folder. Do you mean that I need to change the MAXPAR parameter in this file?

No, a SETUP.CFG is created whenever you make changes in the Advanced/Configuration Setup menu of the PC version. This file will be created in the working directory, which by default is c:\hysplit4\working

To change the upper limit of the maximum particle number, go to the Advanced/Configuration Setup/Concentration menu and choose menu item (4). The Particles released per cycle and the Maximum number of particles can be defined there. Then press the save button each time to get back to the main menu. Now when you run the model, choose the "Run using the SETUP file" option.
