Post any questions or comments regarding the Desktop PC version of HYSPLIT. This includes the model execution, GUIs, results, or graphics. Be sure to include the operating system you are using (Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, etc.

Question:
For the web version of HYSPLIT, we can get temperature, potential temperature, precipitation, etc., along the trajectory. Can we do the same with the PC version?

Answer:
Yes you can. You can either manually edit the SETUP.CFG (see the HYSPLIT user’s guide at https://www.arl.noaa.gov/wp_arl/wp-cont ... _guide.pdf) to add those options…

SETUP.CFG example to add all of them….

&SETUP
KMSL=0,
tm_tpot=1,
tm_tamb=1,
tm_rain=1,
tm_mixd=1,
tm_relh=1,
/
or use the GUI under Advanced/Configuration Setup/Trajectory and check the boxes you want.
