Question:
Is it possible to represent in the same map forward and backward trajectories..in order to make a comparison of the integration time step?

Answer:
Yes – create different trajectory endpoint ascii files, each with different names, then run trajplot using the “+” symbol between each input file, the map will be created based upon the first file, with subsequent trajectories on the same map:

trajplot -itdump_fwrd+tdump_back
