Refer to https://www.ready.noaa.gov/documents/Tu ... _clus.html. Click the penguin icon under the section title for a Linux/macOS shell script. For Windows PC, use the terminal icon.
The GUI fix described above will be included in the next HYSPLIT release, probably within two months.

Re: Data needed for March 2023
If you are using HYSPLIT online on our READY server, choose the "Compute archive trajectories" option instead of the "Compute forecast trajectories" option. ARL has been archiving GFS 1/4-degree data for HYSPLIT since June 2019. Files for March 2023 are in the archive.

Re: ARL DATA ISSUE
chk_file_log.txt contains an error message. The time interval between two successive data points has changed from 30 min to 90 min. This is an error condition to HYSPLIT. The time interval should have been the same in an ARL-formatted meteorological file.

Re: Errors occurred while creating GIS shapefile during the trajectory clustering using HYSPLIT model
Thank you for your post. The error occurred due to a software bug. Our next HYSPLIT release will fix the error. In the meantime, the bug can be fixed by modifying one file. Using a text editor, open guicode/trajclus_disp.tcl. The guicode directory is found inside your hysplit installation directory....

Re: Issues with running HYSPLIT
The "Concentration > Run Example" menu works fine with a mac with an older version of macOS. It is a bit hard to diagnose an issue without being able to reproduce it on my end. You wrote you could see the graph in the working directory. Did you mean that the concplot.html file was created in the wor...

Re: Issues with running HYSPLIT
Thank you for posting the error message. The error occurred when opening an html file to show the concentration plume graphics. More specifically, the open command failed to start an application for viewing HTML, most likely, the Safari web browser. Probably a security setting is preventing the open...

At the "Application Error" window, more information about the error will be displayed if the "Details >>" button is pushed. Could you post the detailed information? Also which version of macOS are you using?

Re: Is possible to add more decimals to output files?
If the file format were to be changed, it should be done by the HYSPLIT developers. It is easy to change the FORTRAN FORMAT statement to allow more digits. However, it is not so to confirm the change would not break existing tools and software programs. On a separate note, HYSPLIT performs most of i...
