Re: June 2019 HYSPLIT upgrade at NCEP
We just checked the web pages and all the dates load for the HRRR and we are able to run HYSPLIT with the HRRR forecasts. Please provide us with screenshots of your inputs so we can diagnose why you are not able to run with the HRRR.

Re: Only one starting point in Matrix mode (web HYSPLIT)
You can only run user selected multiple locations by choosing the "Normal" option, but you need to select the number of trajectory locations (1, 2 or 3) on that same page. See the attached example images.

Re: Internet-based Hysplit READY - choosing height as a fraction of planetary boundary layer
For the trajectories, there is no difference between the two versions, so download the unregistered version. And yes, you need to install the graphical utilities before installing HYSPLIT.

Re: Why do web-based and installed HYSPLIT create different results?
If you set the maximum height of the model on the PC to 15240.0 you will get the same results as the web version. HYSPLIT uses this number to scale the internal levels of the model and because your trajectories crossed some weather discontinuity in northern Italy, the small difference in the levels ...
