Custon Made NetCDF format
Hello, I had a question with regards to using a custom made NetCDF met input for HYSPLIT. I am aware there is a minimum number of fields that are required but if we want to include additional variables what other fields would HYSPLIT accept? Does the arrangement of the fields in the NetCDF file matt...

Re: Single Site Profile
Is there any more information about this program? I couldn't find anything in the user manual.

Single Site Profile
Hi,
Is HYSPLIT capable of accepting a single site profile as a meterological input? This would be a list of heights and all the necessary variables at each height that HYSPLIT requires?
Thanks

Single-site profile
Hi, I would like to give HYSPLIT a single-site profile as it's meteorological input; so ideally an ASCII text with a list of heights and all the necessary variables HYSPLIT needs. Is HYSPLIT able to accept such a file regardless if the pre-processor interpolates the variables or if the interpolation...

Grid Resolution
Hello, I am looking at how the output grid resolution affects HYSPLIT performance using measured data. I am quantifying the performance using statistical metrics. It seems that there is no general rule for what output grid resolution should be used. Using a higher resolution (even with more particle...

Dilution Factors
To ensure that model outputs are giving dispersion factors you need to have a release rate of 1(1/hr) for an hour release. For a 2 hour release can you just change the release duration to 2 hours or do also have to half the release rate so it is 0.5? I guess the question also asks if you have to hav...

NCEP/NCAR Reanalysis Data Archive
I am converting the reanalysis data from the directory:
ftp://arlftp.arlhq.noaa.gov/archives/reanalysis/
I wanted to know if the times were in PST or GMT?

Re: HYSPLIT error
I recompiled with gfortran and I am afraid I'm getting a similar error. If I add a single entry after the 21st I get: STOP 900 printed to the screen. It runs if the emission go from 11th to 21st. If I keep on adding emission cycles in the EMITIMES then I get: Segmentation fault - invalid memory refe...

I've attached the first part of the MESSAGE file. Let me know if you need the rest.

Re: HYSPLIT error
Using hycs_std doesn't give me an error message but it stops the simulation about the same time and prints "900" to the screen.
I've added the both the ulimit command and the export command to increase the stack size but I am still getting the forrtl:error(69): process interrupted (SIGINIT).
