Re: Advanced menu editing and matter of run file

You might benefit from examining files within the 'testing' directory inside your hysplit installation. There are script files named xrun.bat and xrun.scr for Windows and Linux, respectively. These scripts run more than hundred cases for testing purposes.

Re: cant open hysplit after install

Have you also installed the Tcl/Tk, Ghostscript, and ImageMagick that need to be downloaded separately from respective websites? If not, please refer to https://www.ready.noaa.gov/HYSPLIT_util.php and have them installed.

Thank you for the detailed description of the steps you took. It helped me to see where the errors were coming from. After making two additional changes, I was able to compile HYSPLIT using Intel compilers, ICC and IFORT 17.0.4. 1) compile.sh, line 105: specify options to use Intel compilers so that...

Re: Failure to Compile HYSPLIT LINUX on Cheyenne

I was able to build HYSPLIT on LINUX after pulling the latest source code (svn revision 1010) and executing the compile.sh script inside the trunk directory. Executable files were created in the trunk/exec directory. GCC and GFORTRAN 4.8.5 were used on RHEL 7. I presume that you were trying to build...
