How to create partplot.ps? When I display particles, it says the file not found.
Thanks!

Shape parameter for particles
Hi, I have a question about Hysplit that I haven't been able to answer myself by going through the manual or looking online. In the Concentration / Setup Run / Deposition definition, what are the values for the "Shape" parameter and what do they mean? I notice that Shape is set to 0.0 if the polluta...

Different results on different platforms?
Hi,
Is there a reason why I'd be getting different results when I run the same control/setup files on Windows versus Mac? When I run Hysplit on Mac OS Lion, I get an expected plume. However, when I duplicate that same run on Windows 7, I get zero concentrations.

Trajectory frequency plot
I’m learning HYPLIT trajectory model and have a question need your help. After running a trajectory frequency display, I can get a trajectory frequency plot. My question is can I get the data of the result so that I can plot the trajectory by myself use other software? Many thanks in advance for you...

How to calculate area of lake for model?
Hello
I want to define a lake which is going to be dried as a source. My question is how to determine the exact area of lake in HYSPLIT.

Threshold friction velocity
Hello
When we want to model a dust storm, we can use advanced/desert land use which consider default values. But is it possible to determine the threshold friction velocity for an area our own?

Model dust from salt lakes?
Hello
Is it possible to model dust storm from a salt lake as a source (area:0.5 deg*0.25 deg) with advanced/PM10 dust storm emission algorithm?
