Re: Test case for benchmarking MPI run
We do not have an MPI benchmarking case, though we should probably add one. Some questions in general regarding run duration: Increase the meteorological subgrid size to lower the number of reads, for example to MGMIN=300 or more. If MGMIN is larger than the grid, the whole grid is read. The MES...

Re: PARDUMP zero lat/lon?
Do you expect particles to be in the vicinity of 0 degrees latitude, 0 degrees longitude? If not, please attach your CONTROL and SETUP files so we can try to reproduce it. Thanks.

Re: Automated multiple trajectories
Go to the Tutorial at https://www.ready.noaa.gov/documents/Tutorial/html/index.html Go to Section 6.1 Frequency Analysis, which is where Run Daily is run. Click on the linux (penguin) icon at the top of the page and open the file in Notepad. Run Daily in the GUI just is the looping through date/time...

Please give us more information. What program are you running? What data are you converting? What else is in the error message?

Re: Times shown on the bottom of the back trajectories
Your run on READY had been deleted before I saw this message. Please run another case, and post here the CONTROL and SETUP.CFG so we can reproduce the case (you may need to rename them ending in .txt). If you can attach one image and describe which date labels are the issue that would also help. Tha...

Re: Error 23 when spanning 31 Dec 0039 to 01 Jan 0040
That was a good idea to run chk_file. I'm not familiar with MeteoInfo, but is it possible you could have missed an error/warning message with the convert? Try the convert again. Also you could convert December 31 and January 1st separately, then run chk_file on each of those files to see the time in...

Re: Define lat/lon range in the final plot and customize basemap
Yes, the default is 'arlmap'. See the c:\hysplit\graphics\mapfiles\README_arlmap.txt file that describes the format of file 'arlmap'. It is a text file that can be edited or you can create your own. The frequency plotting program is concplot. If you run "concplot" on the Command Prompt line, yo...

Re: Back trajectory temporal and spatial error
What would the 240-h back trajectories show that your 120-h doesn't? Obviously they cover more territory. People use 240-h back trajectories without knowing exactly how good they are.
