Did you try this?
You can try using ghostscript in place of ghostview if you cannot get ghostview to work.
In the
advanced / set directories /
menu
you can point the ghostview path to point to ghostscript.

Re: GSView requesting for verification code
In the gui click on Advanced > Configuration Setup > Set Directories and check to see if the path to your ghostscript and/or ghostview paths are correct. Not a big deal, but note that this workshop uses HYSPLIT 5.1.0, so you will get slightly different results for some of the examples that Roland wi...

Re: [PATCH] conc2cdf Improvements
Sorry, for misspelling your name. I will correct that in future versions of HYSPLIT. I will discuss with the HYSPLIT team to see if we want to incorporate your other suggestions. We try to keep the code backward compatible, so these changes may have negative consequences for other users. There is no...

Re: GSView requesting for verification code
What OS are you using? You could try using an older version. We tested GSview 5.0 with Ghostrscript 9.23 and 9.52. As Roland mentioned, you can try using Ghostscript if you are having problems with Ghostview. A user above mentioned that "after reverting to versions 9.50 and making sure the directori...

Re: Multiple Time Starts
You can run the HYSPLIT utility program vmixing to obtain PBLH. See:

Re: Kz diffusivity
Hi, We have worked with this group at NIST to incorporate new beta turbulence parameterizations that closely follows what is done in WRF, but we have yet to fully evaluate these options. Based on your results, I suggest running HYSPLIT with the STILT dispersion scheme (namelist option idsp=2). This ...

Re: Long simulation time. Wrong configurations?
Puffs will continue to be simulated with HYSPLIT if it is outside of the concentration domain, but within the meteorological domain in case the puff is re-circulated back into the concentration domain. If you would like HYSPLIT to not simulate the transport of this puff after it is transported outsi...

Re: arw2arl: Output time interval not constant
You need to make sure WRF is output at a constant interval. You need to edit your WRF namelist.input file to ensure that your output time step is divisible by your model time step. If you are using the adaptive time step, you need to ensure that the output is being written out at the desired output ...
