Thanks for posting the MESSAGE file content. We will need CONTROL and SETUP.CFG files as well.

You might want to rename CONTROL to CONTROL.txt, SETUP.CFG to SETUP.txt, etc. and try uploading them again.

If you are using the HYSPLIT Graphical User Interface, the HYSPLIT files should be found in the working directory.

The LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable might need to be redefined to include the directory containing the libnetcdff.so.7 library. If you are using bash, it can be done by:

export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu

Please attach your SETUP.CFG, CONTROL, and MESSAGE file to this thread. They would be helpful to diagnose the issue.

As described in https://www.ready.noaa.gov/HYSPLIT_linux.php, the HYSPLIT source code is available for non-commercial user only to a limited number of registered users. Our pre-compiled HYSPLIT distributions do not contain the source code.
