Re: Question about clustering algorithm(projection)
Thank you for your answer. The difference was not that large. It was just curiosity. If I using trajectories from the file that I uploaded on original message, they all have 6 cluster, but as you can see in the attached file, for the lower number of cluster the clustering is little different. Question about clustering algorithm(projection)
I was looking for the algorithm for the clustering and found out that the clustering is done after projection. I'm just curious that why clustering process should be done after projection process. Is there any reason for that not using the great circle distance or something? Because it would be just...

Couldn't access arlftp server
Hello, I'm trying to download HYSPLIT formatted NOAA reanalysis data from ftp://arlftp.arlhq.noaa.gov/pub/archives/reanalysis but I couldn't access the ftp server. It just showed connection timed out. I can enter ftp://ftpprd.ncep.noaa.gov/ here, but not ftp://arlftp.arlhq.noaa.gov/pub/archives/rean...

Question about testing by running "xrun.scr"
I installed hysplit and to insure the installation I ran the "xrun.scr". However, in dispersion results, output was slightly difference with the "results.pdf" and some of them are very different. For example, in page 16 of "results.pdf", there is "Dispersion using Deformation (012)" is obviously dif...
