Re: Deposition and Dose Calculation

1- Is it possible to examine wet deposition by using user-entered data? I tried it but not allowed due to the precipitation rate that is given as an error message. However, when ı compared the global data and user-entered data, the main differences between them specific humidity. I guess it is not a...

Re: Parallel version slower than the serial one

OK, that is pretty fast. I would suggest you increase the duration of the runs and see if you notice any difference. Since the parallelization is done over the number of particles, you will not notice any difference with runs that take such a short time. In your runs most of the time is spent readin...

Re: Terrain file viewing

Please find attached the fortran code to read the .ASC and convert them to the concentration formatted files. You can use any of the visualization tools that HYSPLIT offers to create a graphic. Please rename the attachment to a .f extension Below is the content of a makefile you can use to compile t...

Re: Reconfiguring Test Case Misleading

The problem you have discovered is simply that the on-line version of the tutorial that you found on the NOAA-ARL web page at https://ready.arl.noaa.gov/HYSPLIT_Tutorials.php has not been updated to reflect any of the recent changes to the model. This is because that particular version of the tutori...

Re: Evaluation of model and download the Spain version

The model can be evaluated with tracer experiments (an example is given when you download the code under the "datem" directory) or, depending on the application, with the data that you might have available. Examples on the evaluation of the model can be found in Stein, A.F., R.R. Draxler, G.D. Rolph...

Unfortunately you will have to choose one option at the time. They cannot be chosen simultaneously.

Re: par2conc - Segmentation fault

It is probably a memory issue. I would suggest trying with a lower number of particles to evaluate if that is the problem.
