Re: Download data formats
Look below the section for the graphics and you will see a link called "Trajectory endpoints file". This is an ASCII file containing the trajectory endpoints. There is also a help link on the format just below the link for the file.

Re: "Run Hysplit4.LNK access is denied" error on installation
This message indicates that HYSPLIT cannot find your TCL software. If you downloaded our tcl.zip file, after unzipping the file https://www.ready.noaa.gov/data/web/models/hysplit4/trial/tcl.zip, let's assume the binary (wish86t.exe) resides under C:\tcl\bin, right-click the HYSPLIT shortcut "Run Hys...

Re: Issues with certain NAM 12 km files
Thank you for letting us know of these issues. We corrected the 20161202_nam12 file, however we do not have a replacement for the 20151129_nam12 file.

Re: Installation of registered hysplit on Window OS
We do not provide the source code for the windows version (it is the same code as the LINUX distribution). You can download the registered version of PC HYSPLIT for the PC or Mac if you are a registered user (see https://www.ready.noaa.gov/HYSPLIT_register.php ). You do not need to register to downl...

Re: even if the option of the pollutant is set to continuous release but is not continuously released.
If you look at your MESSAGE file you will see that you exceeded the defined maximum particle/puff limit of 10,000. When you exceed this limit as defined in the SETUP.CFG file, the model cannot emit any more pollutant. Set your MAXPAR value in the SETUP.CFG file to a number larger than needed to run ...

Re: Error about meteorological data
It looks like you are using the unregistered version of HYSPLIT to access data that is valid for the current day. This is not allowed with the trial version. You will need to get the registered version of HYSPLIT to use current forecast data in the model. Also, there is no need to convert the data t...

Re: Error - HYSPLIT using incorrect HRRR data?
The problem was that there were empty files from 8/27/2016 18Z through 8/29/2016 00Z. We removed those empty files (we cannot replace them with valid files anymore), so you should be able to run your trajectories.
