Re: Combine gdas0p5 to overcome limit of 12 files

You can use the Windows "type" command to concatonate your files into one file, but make sure they are in the correct order (start to finish). Re: Web back trajectory stops at 72 hours

We were able to redo your trajectory with no problems going back 120 hours (see job number 139104). Make sure you specify 120 hours in the "Total run time" input field or else it will default to 72 hours.

Re: odd sized met files

Unfortunately that is correct. We occasionally have communication issues that can cause these missing cycles and NCEP does not archive these sigma level files. You should be able to use the NAMS CONUS file as it is hourly at 12 km to fill in that one time period. You can find it at: ftp://arlftp.arl...

Re: odd sized met files

Apparently that file was incomplete and we are not able to recreate it. It has been removed from the archive. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Re: Unit of Wet deposition

The model can read both forms of wet removal. If the value entered is greater than one, the model interprets the value as a ratio of the pollutant in rain (g/liter) measured at the ground to that in air (g/liter of air in the cloud layer). Otherwise, the model interprets the value as a time constant...
