There is an article comparison between Hysplit and Flexpart,https://acp.copernicus.org/articles/19/8425/2019/
At least from Amazon rainforest pollutant traces analysis, they worked intensively with HYSPLIT

Pre requirements
Fully install x code and supplementary code lines
Install dmg by click “option” key and then right click and select open

Move “HYSPLIT.sh” to applications

On system settings go to security and privacy and select “open anyways” to add superuser privileges

If there are problems ...

select cancel and go to setting and privacy and below on install hysplit select open anyways
try to install back again once you confirm this superuser privileges.

In regards to the HYSPLIT, I do have some questions, please i'd appreciate to help me with them, as follows:
