The last column in your file is concentration. The name of the column consists of a pollutant identification string and the vertical level (in meters) of a concentration grid being printed. More details on CON2ASC is found at https://ready.arl.noaa.gov/hysplitusersguide/S341.htm.

Suppose your concentration file is named as hysplit2.bin in the C:\hysplit4\working directory. If HYSPLIT is installed on your PC, there is a program that converts a concentration output file to a text file. After a trajectory run with READY (or online HYSPLIT), you will see links to the HYSPLIT SETUP file and the HYSPLIT CONTROL file. You might want to download them and compare them with what goes into your splitr calculation.

It would be ideal to have the same CentOS 7.7.1908 setup to test if the precompiled distribution for CentOS 7.6 would work with 7.7. However, given that both CentOS systems are of the same major release (i.e., 7), the precompiled distribution should probably work.

Could you attach the SETUP.CFG and CONTROL files as well? Together with MESSAGE.TXT that you already posted they provide useful information for a diagnosis.
