How can I check if the top of the model domain?
According to the HYSPLIT4 Users' Guide the default value of the top of the model is 10000, but it can set if the model domain exceed. How can I check if the default value is suitable and we can trust in the result?

The SETUP.CFG and the CONTROL files are the same (except the top of the model). I attached the MESSAGE files. The Message files are different. I do not know which one is reliable.

Thank you very much for your reply. I found the mistake. I checked the MESSAGE file as you suggested and I got to know that the .grib files are not found. After I copied the .grib files into the working directory (hysplit/working) the program found the files and could convert them.
