Re: regarding MLD
Hello, Thanks for your reply. Yes when the USE METEOROLOGICAL MODEL is selected and required data is selected then whether HYSPLIT do some processing of data? or interpolation. I think for time the interpolation is made Is there any processing which is made in the MLD data. Thanks for your reply

Re: regarding MLD
Thanks for your reply It is just a query. When we run the mixing layer depth from HYSPLIT. "Under Mixing layer computation method" there There is option to select the use meteorological model. If I know a meterological model which provides the MLD within HYSPLIT then is there some option to select w...

regarding MLD
Hello, I want to know the detail regarding the mixing layer depth calculation in HYSPLIT. There is some information available about the mixing layer depth in hysplit documentation. At what time interval we get the MLD output from hysplit. Although MLD can also be calculated from the meteorological d...

Re: GDAS Archive at University of Alaska
Hello, Can someone help me about 1) The detail data discription of each parameter how it is calculated in GDAS data set. The U and V winds are in m/s but the W wind is given in terms of the pressure and its unit is "hPa/s" can anyone suggest how to convert the wind unit from hpa/s to m/s 2) Can anyo...

Re: general query
Hello,
Thanks for your reply, yes I am aware of the fact that with WRF it can be done. I dont want to go for model run as it will take so much of time in setup etc. I was just checking at least of at 0.5 degree or 0.25 degre if the data is available?
Thanks for your reply and help

I was in need of vertical winds , U , V winds at a higher resolution 0.25 degree and below ( if possible in meter resolution) over the world location outside US.
Can someone suggest me from where can I get .
I shall be very thankful.
