Re: Error while using 4 meteorological files for trajectory calculation
I'm using ERA Interim Reanalysis data. If the data set is corrupted then it shouldn't run when I tested it with one of these datasets each.

Error while using 4 meteorological files for trajectory calculation
Hi, My trajectory calculation script works fine for 3 Meteorological files however when I change it to 4 Meteorological files it gives me the following output WARNING metset: Old format meteo data grid 4 1 At line 126 of metold.f Fortan runtime error: Bad value during integer read I've check the met...

How does changing Ztop effects the trajectories at higher BL levels?
Hi, The default Ztop is given as 10 km and in the tutorial, it is mention that Ztop defines the internal scaling height. I have two questions on this. Firstly, does the internal scaling height means that at that height there is no effect of topographic features on the trajectory? Secondly, if I chan...

Re: Defining a map area for trajectory display
Thanks for your help. However, is it possible to modify second and third lines in the label of the trajectory display? As I explained earlier, I'm plotting a lot of trajectories together but trajplot just picks the Title according to the first trajectory it plots. I can modify the first line of the ...

Defining a map area for trajectory display
Hi, I'm trying to plot several trajectory files on one plot. The trajplot function picks randomly one trajectory file and defines the area of the map with respect to that file. Later on, when it plots other trajectories on the same map, some of them go out of bound. So, is there a way where I could ...

Auto renaiming of ECMWF daily reanalysis data file to ECMG
Hi, I'm converting the ECMWF Interim dataset to ARL format to be used by HYSPLIT and on running the check file menu the name of the Meteorological model is displayed as "ECMG". Shouldn't the name be ECMWF? Initially, it doesn't matter but when on plotting the trajectories with default settings, I ha...

Does using height in AGL takes local topography into account?
Hi,
I'm calculating back trajectories with the output in AGL. I saw in the output trajectory that the air parcel is going over a lot of mountainous terrain. So, I want to make sure if using the starting height in AGL by default takes the local terrain into account or not?
Thanks,

Thanks, it works now. Please make a note to clarify the brackets in the user guide as well.
