Re: Trajectory Source Geolocation
The CONTROL file that is used for the dat2cntl is for a forward location but if the source location is not known, which I guess is why you would use this in the first place, then what should you use for the lat/long in the base CONTROL file that is needed by dat2cntl?

S141.html also says T02m is in Kelvin but https://ready.arl.noaa.gov/hypub/flddesc.html states that T02M should be in degrees?

Re: Data Format
Can you please confirm what the actual units of these variables actually are? I believe the WSPD is in knots and not in m/s as it says in the document. According to this the WSPD is in knots. https://ready.arl.noaa.gov/hypub/flddesc.html

Hello, I have been able to successfully use the arw2arl to convert some wrf outputs. I wanted to know if all the variables in the netCDF files are being used in the dispersion run. I want to ensure that the resolution of the WRF outputs is the same as the resolution of the ARL met. Some notes mentio...

arw2arl at higher precision
Hello, I have been able to to convert some WRF outputs and feed that into HYSPLIT successfully so far but I am comparing my outputs with another dispersion code and it seems that HYSPLIT is not reading in all the WRF outputs to the highest precision. How do I ensure that during the arw2arl conversio...

Re: ascii2shp conversion software for Mac?
It is not in my executables folder and it seems there is no mention of it in the Makefile.

How do I acquire the ascii2shp for Linux? I can't seem to find it on the Free Software Foundation website.
