Re: Extracting distance traveled from trajectory run
Thanks for the response. I have used the lat-long data to calculate the distance traveled between points, but I was wondering if there was a function in the Hysplit model that allowed this to be calculated without my having to. It seems like that's not an option. Thanks though!

Extracting distance traveled from trajectory run
Hello, I am using back trajectories to investigate the relationship between the isotopic composition of precipitation events and various trajectory parameters. One parameter I'd like to include is the distance traveled by an air parcel. I am aware of how to include meteorological variables in the td...

Incomplete back trajectory calculation
Like another user, I only getting partial results for a back trajectory calculation. I am using the Mac-based downloaded HYSPLIT model and the GUI. I am trying to run a 168 hour back trajectory, but when I run the model, it only back simulates back as little as 5 hours for some simulations. For othe...

Incomplete back trajectory calculation
Some of the back trajectory simulations that I run are not going to completion. I have specified a back calculation time of -168 hours, but the back trajectory is only modeled back to as little as 5 hours in some cases. I've used two different data sets (NECEP Reanalysis & GADS 1 degree res), but bo...
