Hi, just to be clear, does the precipitation problem affects any of the v14 files? I mean, those that we can find here:

Re: trajmean adding altitude AGL and MSL ?
Dear Barbara, I managed to modify the code to get the behavior that better suites my application (i.e. output of cluster mean trajectory in AGL instead of ASL). I had to change trajmean.c in two points only, very simple changes in indeed. Because I think this might be interesting to other users, I a...

Re: Ground altitude for the same point varies with start date/time
Dear Barbara, I checked the other post you mentioned, but there is no real explanation, it just says that ground altitude is "calculated from meteo input data". How exactly is that done? In case one had the topograph map from GDAS (I'll try to get it), could one force hysplit to use this terrain? He...

Re: trajmean adding altitude AGL and MSL ?
Dear Barbara, Indeed, the cluster tdump files don't have the extra columns. They include all trajs in the same file (for that cluster), but only the first 12 columns (the last three are lat, lon, and altitude AGL ). That altitude is the same as in the original tdump files for each individual traject...

trajmean adding altitude AGL and MSL ?
Dear All, I ran many simulation starting at the same lat/lon and altitude above ground but separated in steps of 1h, for all hours in a particular month. I then modified the script run/testing/xcluster_example.scr to do a cluster analysis. One of the modifications I did was to change -v4 to -v1 for ...

Ground altitude for the same point varies with start date/time
Dear All, I'm running many backward trajectories starting at the same lat/lon and altitude above ground but separated in steps of 1h, for all hours in a particular month. The column before last in my output files (endpoint file format) is named TERR_MSL and, as far as I understand, it should be the ...

Re: How to fill missing 0.5deg data with another data source
Hi Ariel, Just add the 1 week gdas 1 degree to the control file. Hysplit will try to use the highest horizontal resolution (gdas 0.5), when the data is not available it will use the gdas 1 degree. Thanks! One more question: I'm runing Hysplit on a linux server, so it would be very easy to just make ...

How to fill missing 0.5deg data with another data source?
I am trying to use the GDAS 0.5deg data set to do my Hysplit simulations. Its a 5day backward simulation starting on 7 march 2014, that means I need these files: 20140308_gdas0p5 20140307_gdas0p5 20140306_gdas0p5 20140305_gdas0p5 20140304_gdas0p5 20140303_gdas0p5 20140302_gdas0p5 The problem is the ...
